Katie attended the University of Washington for both her Doctorate of Physical Therapy as well as receiving her undergraduate degree in Sociology. Katie is a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. In her first year of practicing, she completed the EIM Orthopedic Residency program and has utilized this knowledge in treating the orthopedic population. Katie chose a career in physical therapy because she wanted a job where she could help others be able to do what they love and encourage self-advocacy in medicine. She is passionate about working to restore a patient’s mobility and strength while teaching them more about their body and everything it can do.
Her favorite hobbies include hiking with her dog Bosley, camping with a view, and reading a good book in her hammock.
Special interests: neck pain, headaches, low back pain, patients with hypermobility.
