Jelena received her Bachelor’s in Kinesiology from Western Washington University and moved on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Washington. Her passion for physical therapy was deepened through involvement in a multitude of sports such as coaching tennis and working as a functional fitness coach. Her current experience includes work with both professional and recreational athletes, pre- and post-operative shoulders, hips, and knees, osteoarthritis patients, and a variety of other musculoskeletal conditions. Key aspects of her practice include utilizing patient-focused individualized treatment plans, using evidence-based practices such as manual therapy, blood flow restriction, and movement screenings, in order to help empower patients to return to the activities they love. Currently, Jelena spends her free time traveling, weightlifting, crafting, playing with her puppy, and trying new restaurants around Seattle.
