Chanel earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in San Marcos, California. She received her undergraduate degree from San Diego State University and began her career in outpatient orthopedic and home health settings, where she treated a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions across different populations. Through this experience, she developed a strong clinical foundation and a versatile treatment approach.
She has a growing interest in the treatment of cervical spine conditions, as well as concussion and vestibular disorders. To further refine her clinical skills, she obtained her Certificate in Orthopedic Manual Therapy, enhancing her expertise in hands-on musculoskeletal care.
Her treatment philosophy emphasizes the use of manual therapy to help manage pain, facilitate muscle activation, and improve mobility, followed by targeted exercise to optimize movement and support a safe return to independent function.
Outside of the clinic, she enjoys hiking, snowboarding, running, sourdough baking, and knitting. As a recent addition to the Seattle area, she is excited to explore more trail running and backpacking opportunities in the Pacific Northwest.
