Jessica earned her Masters of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Washington in 2001 and is a Certified Orthopedic Clinic Specialist through the APTA. With extensive experience in outpatient physical therapy, she is dedicated to patient education so you can understand the “why” of the pain and the “why” of the home program we will set to improve function. She spent years as a sport-medicine focused therapist, working closely with the medical staff in her previous job. Her passion for movement stems from decades of ballet and modern dance training and carries over to movement analysis and helping clients finding joy in movement again. Jessica also spent many years training in reformer-based Pilates and completed teaching coursework. She also has had some training in coaching mountain biking. Additionally, she is trained through Herman & Wallace for Pelvic Floor Treatment, specializing in prenatal, postpartum, and urinary incontinence care.
In her free time you can find her mountain biking, taking yoga or contemporary dance classes, hiking, Nordic skiing or playing board games with friends.
