
Originally hailing from upstate New York, Alyssa earned her bachelors in rehabilitation sciences and Doctorate of Physical Therapy with a sports concentration from Northeastern University. Following school she completed an orthopedic residency with the VA of Palo Alto, focusing on treating acute injuries in the urgent care and emergency room settings. In addition, she had an opportunity to explore vestibular techniques working with members of the special community and assisting them return to duty following traumatic brain injuries. As a residency trained therapist, Alyssa is passionate about utilizing her advanced knowledge and skills to assist patients seeking to return to their active lifestyles. She has a special interest in working with runners, tactile athletes, and women pre and post-partum.
Outside of work you will likely find her running, hiking, gardening, and planning her next backpacking trip.
