Michael is the director and founder of Greenwood Physical Therapy. He graduated from the University of Washington School of Physical Therapy, and subsequently completed post baccalaureate work in orthopedic manual therapy through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy. He has taken many continuing education courses focusing on orthopedic physical therapy and advocates evidence based practice. He recently stepped down from treating clients as the practice has experienced a tremendous amount of growth over the past few years. This allows him to work on maintaining the clinical and service excellence GPT clients expect; to develop and grow internal programs within the practice; to streamline administrative operations; and to protect the one-on-one service model that has not changed since GPT opened in 2003, despite the evolving and challenging health care climate. Born and raised in Lake Forest Park, he lives locally in Northwest Seattle with his wife, 3 children, and dog Cinnamon.
Special Interests: Golf and tennis fitness, lower extremity biomechanics, spinal dysfunction, running injuries, chronic tendonitis / tendonosis, postural dysfunction, and manual therapy.
